Nathan Modra is a contemporary artist creating scrap metal sculptures and acrylic paintings on his family sheep farm at Rockleigh.
Nathan created his first metal sculpture in 2016 and has continued to create ever since. Now incorporating resin and gemstones to create raw thought-provoking figurative sculptures. The contrasting texture of hard metal and layers of soft looking dripping resin work together to create a distinguishable look.
Living out in the country Nathan is able to explore and experiment freely. Trial and error are welcomed to create something that feels new and different.
