Sarah Lubcke is a painter and illustrator that knows no bounds when it comes to colour. Through her vivid and distinct compositions she re-imagines what is known and seen, at times combining with elements of that which is not. Driven by her own child-like curiosities and love of mysteries, all her paintings have messages and meanings beyond the surface. Through viewing her work it is her hope that one will be uplifted and encounter the wonders of life.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of South Australia, specialising in painting and a Certificate Four in design. She also has many years of experience in fashion styling and make up. She has recently volunteered her time to teach patients and exhibit work with the Sydney Children's Hospital.

SALA acknowledges the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and all Traditional Owners of country throughout South Australia. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ continuing connection to land, place, waters and community. We pay our respects to them, their heritage and cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
