I am artist originally from Adelaide who has a completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts with University of South Australia in 2020. I am also currently studying a Bachelor of Fashion Design with the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Melbourne. This is so that I can combine the art and fashion together. I work across multiply disciplinarians such as filmmaking, photography, fashion, painting and mixed media. The work I create explores ideas about religion, sexuality, queer culture and the art of drag. The direction I am taking my practice is into a pastel pink, illustrative style that comments on the Ken doll Barbie and how it has shaped the rationalism and consequences of beauty in the queer community. It expands on the idea of the Barbie Ken doll as a "Boy Toy" and it being something disposable.
