I love where I live and get excited about creating a record of the things in my backyard which is everything from the majestic river scenes, abundance of wildlife, old history and the everyday things that have there own unique beauty.
The experiences of watching Paddle Steamers go past, people fishing, and pelicans hunting.
Each Season brings in new birdlife. Following them building nests, raising their chicks and warding off predators can keep you captivated for hours. So does watching the Whistling Kites, Sea Eagles, Pelicans and Peregrine Falcons circling high above.
Palm trees that were planted over a century ago add to the ambience of this backyard with the old house standing guard over them. The funny little Cellar with bottles from before the 1956 floods are charming.
We look as we dig because we have found many treasures buried beyond the surface these are all things that I love.
The work will be a mixture of mediums: Acrylic Painting, Mixed Media, Oil Paintings and Pastel Drawing.
