1871 Exhibition celebrates local artists of all skill levels throughout SALA, transforming the café into a dynamic gallery space. A diverse range of artworks is on display, including acrylic and watercolour paintings, linocut print, textured pieces, clay sculptures, naïve art, and naturally dyed silk fibers. Designed as a relaxed and immersive experience, the exhibition invites visitors to sit back and take in the creativity around them. Throughout the month, local artists will be working within the café, offering the community a chance to witness their creative process firsthand and interact with the makers.
