In a speculative future where rising seas have consumed the Earth, humanity engages in a last-ditch effort of 'churning the ocean' to dredge up some piece of forgotten technology which might save them. Many strange entities emerge from the turbulent waters: treasures, poisons, creatures and new deities. A multi-channel video installation assembled from old computers, electronic toys and junk plastics, this project explores the witnessing power of things, taking a radical approach to portraiture through the e-waste a person generates in their lifetime.
