Join artist Shirley for a series of unique, hands-on jewellery making workshops using silver-clay. These beginner-friendly sessions introduce participants to exciting techniques that turn clay into wearable fine silver piece.
• Organic Ring Making With Stone – Craft personalised silver rings, setting heat-resistant stones like cubic zirconia. synthetic ruby and spinel. Learn moulding, firing, and polishing process.
• Jewellery Making With Frosting Technique – making a ring, a pendant or a pair of earrings using silver-clay paste and cake-frosting tools. Whimsical and fun!
• Silver Origami Pendant Or Earrings – Using silver-clay paper and innovative folding techniques such as origami, create delicate, sculptural wearable silver forms.
• Casting Nature Into Jewellery – Transform found objects (leaves, shells, stone) into bespoke fine silver jewellery pendant or earrings.
All pieces are fired and polished in Shirley’s studio. Finished works are ready to collect 2-3 hours after the session or the following day (subject to firing schedule).
