Exhibition
RAW MATERIALS brings together artists Libby Rose and Joseph Boas in a tactile exploration of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s natural resources. Each piece in this exhibition carries the imprint of the landscape: wild clay, foraged and shaped by hand, fired into vessels that hold the memory of the land; textiles steeped in botanical dyes, capturing the ephemeral essence of leaves and tannins.
Together, these works embody a conversation between material and maker—embracing imperfections, textures, and the quiet stories embedded in nature. This exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the raw beauty of process-driven practice and the deeply personal relationship between artist, land, and material.
