Outdoor Digital Projection – Celebrating Creativity Across Communities

As part of our SALA Festival Launch Event, the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery is proud to present a spectacular outdoor digital projection showcasing artworks from a diverse mix of local, regional, and interstate artists. This stunning visual display will also highlight creative contributions from local community groups and schools, bringing together a rich tapestry of stories, perspectives, and artistic expression.

The projection will feature specially commissioned works from Illuminart, renowned for their captivating large-scale storytelling and light-based public art. These commissions add a powerful dimension to the celebration, blending cutting-edge projection technology with community voices and visual artistry.

This nightly event transforms the exterior of the Port Pirie Barrier Chambers into a luminous canvas, celebrating the breadth of talent and collaboration within and beyond our region. Gather your friends and family, rug up, and experience art in a whole new light!
