Mee DEE,
GRIM REPRESS
Exhibition
A collaborative debut between two emerging artists and their opposing internal guides.
GRIM REPRESS is a Filipino-Australian visual artist working primarily in painting across traditional and digital spaces. Her work explores human complexities through themes of simplicity, purity and decay. Informed by organic compositions, GRIM REPRESS reveals a biomechanical map of ink and sinew to confront and preserve our inner parasite. She is currently pursuing formal education in Visual Arts at the Adelaide College of the Arts. This is her first public exhibition.
MeeDee is a neurodivergent sculptural artist and pre-service teacher with The University of South Australia. She works primarily with ceramics, analog photography, and natural fibers. Her works are absurd, inspired by childhood misconceptions, digital folklore, and are informed by her background in psychology. She wants you to feel her heart pound. This is her first public exhibition.
