In Between presents new paintings and monoprints by Cecilia Gunnarsson and Georgina Willoughby, developed through shared walking experiences in local places of endemic significance. Grounded in embodied observation and intuitive mark-making, the artists translate encounters with forest, light, native plants and shifting ecologies into layered, tactile works. Through collaboration and skill-sharing, abstraction and figuration meet in a visual dialogue shaped by memory, place and material experimentation. The exhibition invites audiences to reflect on local green spaces as sites of sanctuary and to consider how art can deepen care and connection within fragile environments.
