The Spaces We Hold is a contemporary exhibition of abstract works exploring psychological space, emotional memory and the unseen structures shaped through lived experience.

Through layered surfaces, restrained palettes and intuitive gesture, Claire Foord creates atmospheric abstract paintings that examine the tension between softness and containment, visibility and self-erasure. Developed through an intuitive and materially responsive practice, the exhibition reflects on adaptation as both protection and performance. Influenced by contemporary interiors, feminine spatial experience and emotional perception, the works construct contemplative environments charged with stillness, vulnerability and quiet resistance.
