Delphine ALLERT
Fragments of the Journey brings together a series of 2D paintings and mixed media works that explore memory, landscape and ecological change through a regional and familial lens.
The exhibition examines the marks left by time, human presence and environmental shifts. Drawing from personal and family memory and lived experience, the works reflect on how historical stories and shared memories are imagined, both visible and hidden.
Through the use of paint and found materials, such as antique frames, rusted farm metal, dried flora and animal hides, the artworks act as quiet assemblages of memory of place, family and journey.
The exhibition invites viewers to consider the fragile balance between human activity and natural ecosystems, while reflecting on how memory and identity are shaped by the land we inhabit.
