You don't go to sea with just anyone. Lifelong friends Deb Sleeman and Margie Sheppard have many sea miles between them. Deb is good on a boat, and so is Margie, each in their own way. Much of their connection has been on or by the sea.

They have sailed long passages together, as well as being fellow travellers through life. From summer holidays at Aldinga in the 60s to ocean crossings later in life, they’ve relished the opportunity to dream and drift with the rhythms the sea creates and necessitates.

Their exhibition Sea Dreams explores shared sites of memory and proximity, as well as moments of great distance across time and place.
