Paint that holds itself in space, canvases that unravel, and discarded materials regenerated. No Conditions of Use is an exhibition of material rebellion as artists unsettle expectations and liberate materials from their fixed function and purpose. Bringing together artists from across South Australia who have not previously exhibited together, the exhibition explores how expectations of function and value can be unsettled. Through acts of repurposing, unraveling and reimagining, materials once defined by use are interrupted and rerouted. Their original purposes remain visible, but no longer hold authority.
