Laneway Studios is a collective of painters, printmakers, sculptors, textile and multimedia artists. As well as displaying work in their studios and offering pieces for sale, they present an exhibition in the POD Gallery that reclaims the language of propaganda, transforming it from division into unity, kindness and hope. Inspired by pre-digital wartime leaflet drops, artists act as messengers, creating “propaganda of peace.” Hundreds of handmade and reproduced leaflets fill the space through collage, print, drawing and text. These works invite reflection and action, redirecting attention from chaos toward care, while artist-made zines extend the project beyond the gallery.
