What meanings may have been hidden within the simple act of cooking biscuits for those we care for? This exhibition draws upon the influence of the artist's lived experience and family ancestors to find useful, societal ways to adapt and move forward. Modern creative practices are employed in effort to reach those unclaimed symbols of a perhaps simpler, and more nurturing way of life. Complex clay structures, intricate jewellery to adorn, unswayed collage, reckless painting, and cardboard structures are all explored.
