Sally Burley is an emerging artist working with ceramics and large format acrylic on canvas painting.

Her work is heavily influenced by nature, bringing the beauty of the changing seasons colour palette to life in this exhibition.

Sally’s work has a strong force of the abstract in brushwork and colour, with the desire to take the viewer back to realism in form.
Formally trained in life drawing at The Adelaide Central School of Art, Sally’s work speaks of her love of full freedom in large format movement and restraint through detail.

Sally is a South Australian Artist who spends her time living and painting across her two favourite locations in South Australia, amongst the vines at her home in the Barossa Valley & with a view across the glistening waters of Aldinga Beach.

This is Sally’s second exhibition as a part of SALA.
