This striking SALA exhibition reimagines birds as bold fashion icons, merging avian beauty with the visual language of haute couture. Drawing inspiration from houses such as Gucci, Valentino and Balenciaga, alongside designers including Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, the work explores identity, performance, and self-expression.
Using reclaimed textiles, each piece layers texture, colour, and structure to echo runway drama and editorial styling. Feathers become garments. Bodies become silhouettes. Nature becomes spectacle.
Grounded in sustainable practice, Oscar Arrais transforms discarded materials into works of impact, championing conscious making and redefining value through creative collages.
