How are we shaped by time? Not only by the passing of it, but by what it gathers, erodes, and leaves behind in us...
The works emerge from an awareness of living in an era marked by hyper-individualism and a growing fragmentation of collective shared experience. We are more digitally connected than ever, yet increasingly estranged from place, from each other, and from the rhythms that once grounded communal life. In the age where captured moments are consumed and discarded, I find myself asking... what are we truly yearning for now?.. Have we forgotten the simple, fragile act of being together?
Through image, texture, and presence, this exhibition becomes both an invitation and an interrogation. It invites viewers to consider their own relationship to time not as a linear force, but as something cyclical, layered, and embodied. With the old communal town of Wilmington, as a collaborator, this interrogates the subtle absences in contemporary life, the missed opportunities to gather, to witness and to commune.
