Saxon Rudduck
This exhibition features vigorous, functional and beautiful furniture that continues an exploration of a fresh Australian style.

They satisfy functional domestic needs and are a delight and are intriguing visually. Handmade and hand rubbed in gorgeous Tasmanian Oak composite board the works genesis is in the emergence of modern architecture in the early and mid 20th Century overlaid with the energy and angst of more recent times.
Continuing on work shown in SALA 2021, there is an ongoing influence of aeronautical design and structure.

Rudduck is showing a range domestic furniture including pedestals, coffee and side tables, 'what nots' etc in this geometric, angular, design approach.

Catherine Hewitt, artist and light maker, has kindly agreed to show a number of her serene, naturalistic, works in a supporting role to give a domestic context to the show.

This exhibition is a finalist in the City of Unley Active Ageing Award
