After moving from New Zealand to South Australia in 2014, I took a break from exhibiting. This open studio marks a return to sharing my artwork with the public.
I am a former finalist in several prestigious art awards, including the Anthony Harper Contemporary Art Award (2010), James Wallace Art Award (1994, 1995), Visa Gold Art Award (1996), and Cranleigh Barton Drawing Award (1993, 1997). My artwork has previously been represented at contemporary dealer galleries such as the Marshall Seifert Gallery (Dunedin, NZ), Campbell Grant Galleries (Christchurch, NZ), Christopher Moore Gallery (Wellington, NZ), and Gregory Flint Gallery (Auckland, NZ). I have work featured in the collection of the Wallace Arts Trust and a catalogue in the Te Papa Library collection.

Kane Dyer is a finalist in The Advertiser Contemporary Art Award 2023. See the work in the finalist exhibition at Keith Murdoch House.
