Shortlisted entries for the GalleryM Contemporary Art Prize 2023
Gallery M's Contemporary Art Prize has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2016 with the number of entrants steadily increasing each year. Now in its seventh year, the art prize is an initiative of Gallery M and Jarrah J. Holmes of Century 21 Bayside Brighton and is open to all artists aged over 18 living and working in South Australia.
Three independent judges will consider the composition of each work, and the handling of materials and techniques. Judges are looking for originality, aesthetic impact, and the way in which individual works convey contemporary concepts. Only shortlisted entrants will be exhibited in the exhibition.
