Fine Art Kangaroo Island presents new island-inspired artwork from 21 award-winning, celebrated and emerging artists, interconnected by an extraordinary sense of place.

KI's wild places and diverse habitats are home to a myriad of insect species that sustain the island's insectivores. These insects provide an essential food source to countless organisms that inhabit the terrestrial, aquatic and aerial ecosystems, but their numbers are declining.

Art and science combine in a fascinating exhibition. Delve into this remarkable world and explore over 100 purposeful artworks realized in a range of exciting mediums. Presented on Kangaroo Island as a physical exhibition, works include landscape, paeleo and still life painting, photography, sculpture, ephemeral art, etching, printmaking and art jewellery. Online catalogue available.

Opportunities to meet artists and the curator at the launch, and through virtual studio live streams.
