Centennial Park Sculpture Exhibition
SALA in the Park has become a staple event of the SALA Festival, inviting visitors to wander the tranquil gardens of Centennial Park and take in the exhibition of sculptures.

South Australian artists and makers are encouraged to submit their outdoor sculpture works for consideration in the 2026 SALA in the Park exhibition at Centennial Park.
Centennial Park will choose 5 artworks to include in the exhibition and feature alongside pieces from the permanent collection. The selected artists will receive a $360 payment for the loan and installation of their artwork in this popular exhibition.
Key Dates
Submissions open: Tuesday 10 February 2026
Submissions close: Tuesday 31 March 2026 11:59pm
Artists notified: week of 13 April 2026
Installation: 15-31 July 2026 (Mon-Fri 8am-3pm)
Exhibition dates: 1-31 August 2026
Deinstallation: 1-11 September (Mon-Fri 8am-3pm)

South Australian artists creating outdoor sculpture who, if selected for this project, are willing to obtain Public Liability Insurance cover for the duration of the exhibition (including delivery & collection dates).
Yes! Just give as much information as you can, and include a visual (eg a drawing) of the proposed work. Please note that deviation from the proposed dimensions and weight of the artwork can be an issue (and possibly prohibitive) if the work ends up too big or too heavy.
