Centennial Park Sculpture Exhibition
SALA in the Park has become a staple event of the SALA Festival, inviting visitors to wander the tranquil gardens of Centennial Park and take in the exhibition of sculptures.

South Australian artists and makers are encouraged to submit their outdoor sculpture works for consideration in the 2024 SALA in the Park exhibition at Centennial Park.
Centennial Park will choose 5 artworks to include in the exhibition and feature alongside pieces from the permanent collection. The selected artists will receive a $350 payment for the loan and installation of their artwork in this popular exhibition.
Submissions open: Mon 29 Jan 2024
Submissions close: Sunday 17 March 11:59pm
Artists notified: April/May
Installation: 15-31 July 2024 (Mon-Fri 8am-3pm)
Exhibition dates: 1-31 August 2024
Deinstallation: 2-16 September (Mon-Fri 8am-3pm)

South Australian artists creating outdoor sculpture who, if selected for this project, are willing to obtain Public Liability Insurance cover for the duration of the exhibition (including delivery & collection dates).
Yes! Just give as much information as you can, and include a visual (eg a drawing) of the proposed work. Please note that deviation from the proposed dimensions and weight of the artwork can be an issue (and possibly prohibitive) if the work ends up too big or too heavy.
