The SALA office is expanding – we are searching for a Program Coordinator to join our small energetic team. This role is being offered as a 12 month full-time employment contract. Applications close 5pm, Friday 13 April 2018.

The South Australian Living Artists Festival is an open access visual arts festival featuring thousands of artists in hundreds of exhibitions throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia. Since its inception in 1998 the annual SALA Festival has celebrated and promoted the diverse talents of South Australian Living Artists.

If you have experience working in visual arts, on a festival or major event and would like to be part of a small energetic team that delivers a high profile and much loved event this is your opportunity to shine.

The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Manager and CEO, South Australian Living Artists Inc. for the administration functions of the SALA Festival.

The incumbent will work closely with the CEO and Program Manager to achieve the objectives and goals of South Australian Living Artists Inc. This will include being the key contact for artists, venues, councils, and liaising with various other stakeholders in the visual arts, state and local government departments and the business sector.

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar arts, festival or event role, demonstrate project coordination skills, have excellent attention to detail with a natural disposition of delivering high quality customer service, sound computer literacy skills in MS Word, Excel and social media as well as the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to the changing needs of the organisation.

This role is being offered as a 12 month full-time employment contract.
