The full Program of events will be released in July.
The SALA Festival features a huge variety of free exhibitions, open studio days, demonstrations, talks, and art events put on by South Australian artists.
These events take place at dedicated art spaces as well as unexpected places- part of the festival culture is the activation of all kinds of spaces as ‘art galleries’ – from cafes, libraries, shop windows, grain silos, and everything in between.
But it doesn’t end there!
There are lots of opportunities to connect with South Australian visual artists and the work that they make.
For a more intimate peek behind the curtain, pencil in the SALA Open Studios Weekend. Not sure what to see? Grab a ticket to one of our themed City of Adelaide art walking tours with a dedicated tour guide, or jump on a guided bus tour to the regions! If you’re in the mood for a bit of fun, head along to an opening night event, or book your ticket to the notorious SALA Slide Night! If you’re keen to sharpen your artistic skills, search for artist demonstrations or workshops in the program.
