Artist Statement I have spent my working life in the fields of architecture and graphic design until recently, in 2022, when I discovered painting. My hands and clothes have been covered in paint ever since.
Working predominantly in acrylic and oils, my work includes still life subjects, which are complementary to the study of colour, light and texture for use in my figurative works.
I am curious about themes surrounding human nature, self acceptance, wonder and awe. I am interested in how art can play a role in guiding us onto a path of personal freedom.

Due to my varied subjects I can split my work between still life and figurative work within a venue, or display different subjects at multiple venues.
