Artist Statement Nicholas Dallwitz is an experimental painter and musician currently working with AI to create surreal and otherworldly images accompanied by short fictional descriptions of each series of pictures. The themes of his AI work are eco-enchantment, strange utopia, human-animal hybrids, impossible cross-sections, worlds within worlds, shamanism and plausible illusion. He also paints large abstract paintings dealing with themes of energy, transformation, macro/micro, psychology and spirituality. As well as his more surreal and abstract work, Dallwitz films his own electronic music performances in nature, viewable on his music instagram page @florigenix, which has now gathered over 23k followers.
