Tim Christinat
Tim is a self taught artist who has drawn for most of his life and started painting in 2011. Working with acrylics and oils on abstract realist portraits and abstract sea pieces and the occasional dog or bird. He continues to experiment and push his work, inspired by the great Michelangelo who at the age of 87 while painting the St. Peters Bascilica said, ‘Ancora Imparo - I am still learning’.

For my SALA exhibition I will be creating a collection of abstract sea pieces using minimal key lines representing shorelines, rock pools, people and the feeling of being refreshed in the water. Will be using a small palette of blue, white, black, bright pink and a hint of light beige.
Please see some digital examples attached which will all be original paintings (that I'm still working on) based on my time living in Sydney and also bringing in some sea poetry (word based paintings).
