Artist Statement I’m an artist focusing on traditional and digital painting. Painting has been a passionate pursuit most of my life and more recently a full time job. I have a predilection for nature and landscapes that are colourfully poetic, light and zany - often depicting deep and genuine mental and emotional landscapes of an inner world. There is a visible link in my use of medium, texture and light to involuntary experiences, feelings, memories such as smell and touch. In my work, viewers are able to approach their personal experiences and understanding of life in a more straightforward manner. I recently completed my architectural studies which has greatly informed my artistic development. I look forward to working with a venue for a solo or group exhibition.
