Artist Statement I am Kate Marie Lewis, an artist who dives into two worlds: one filled with detailed acrylic paintings showcasing the beauty of Australian Birds, and the other bursting with joyous illustrations for children's picture books. With acrylics, I bring our feathered friends to life, while watercolour, pencil, and mixed media help me craft whimsical tales for little readers. My art is all about celebrating the wonders of wildlife and spreading a bit of joy and curiosity.
