Artist Statement Exploring spatial and spiritual orientation, with a strong Balinese Hindu heritage and present day Western spiritual movement influence, Kunang blends her personal embodiment process and creative practice to produce vivid and evocative representations of soma and psyche.

Kunang aims to provide insight and reflection and hopes to inspire viewers to turn their focus towards their ‘Self’. Through her artwork, Kunang’s goal is to encourage the connection that we have with ancestral wisdom, the Great Mother and a deep recognition of universal energy.
