Artist Statement Catherine (Cat) started painting simply as a project with her four children as part of their self-exploration, but as it turns out, she fell in love with it too. Catherine is a self-taught emerging artist and outside of her work in education, she finds time to paint and explore her creative identity as part of my lifelong learning.
In 2023, she presented at two SALA venues, was a finalist in the 2023 National Emerging Art Prize, a finalist in the 2023 Revivial Emerging Artist Awards, and created a commissioned painting displayed at the University of Adelaide.
