Artist Statement I love to capture the essence of the subjects in my painting and strive to convey this to the viewer.
I start painting with a plan in mind but then the painting itself takes control and it shows me how it wants to be. I only make some decisions in the process.
When I’m painting everything becomes lines and shapes of colors. I lose cognition of the picture in its entirety and get lost in color.
I love to celebrate beauty and find it in ordinary things. I believe that beauty and love is what we need in these challenging times, I had enough of the gloom and decadence around me! Bring on the light and hope.
