Salvador Loreto
Born in Algeciras – southern Spain, I am a Spanish gypsy and arrived in Australia in the 'sixties' where I discovered a new landscape, people and freedom of expression, which I have wholeheartedly embraced.
As a Visual Artist my focus is primarily on the mediums of painting and drawing and making critical observations of the world around me.
I have exhibited in Japan and Spain as well as Australia. My paintings are in collections in Australia, France, Switzerland, Japan and Spain. My work is available for exhibitions and I receive commissions for murals. One of my paintings of the late Don Dunstan, former Premier of South Australia commissioned by him, is owned by the Adelaide Festival Centre and on display in the Dunstan Playhouse.
