In 2021, SALA will celebrate art and artists in the regions with a weekend event in Port Pirie and Crystal Brook. There will be exhibitions, where you can see the outcomes of community endeavors (such as Survivalist Stories) and the outcome of Georgia Button’s artist residency with the exhibition Petrichor. Check out the wares of the Port Pirie branch of the Embroiderer’s Guild of SA in Cabinet of Curiosities, and treat your eyes and tastebuds at the pop art exhibition at Baker Bears Bakery. There will also be a workshop for young people and tours to the nearby SALA exhibitions for you to venture out on.
